Aidan Visscher (A.Visscher) is a Michigan-based composer and performer who seeks to write new and unique music for a variety of instrumentation and skill levels.
Aidan has been in music for most of their life, from listening to their Grandmothers play piano, to being a student in the Reeths-Puffer High School Band program, then playing low brass in West Michigan Pit Orchestras. Aidan has loved music for as long as they can remember.
After high school, Aidan attended Muskegon Community College, where they worked as a music theory tutor and a music librarian before graduating with an Associate’s degree in Music Performance and Entrepreneurship.
Aidan is currently a student at Central Michigan University, where they are a member of the Composition Studio and the School of Music AV Team. Since the summer of 2023, Aidan has been Production Manager at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp during their summer seasons.
In addition to school and work at Blue Lake, Aidan was also on staff as a Low Brass Coach with the 2025 All-Age Northern Lights Drum and Bugle Corps.
